 Croys corporate profile design

The open-minded clients could see the humorous side of being "bean counters".  We developed a theme using a Jack and the Beanstalk, correlating how Croys (accountants) give a hand or two with the climb up, and help to manage the golden egg.  The theme was also used in reception wall art in their new offices, and in a comical video celebrating the move.

Donaghys Corporate Profile brochure design

A new management team brought fresh impetus to this tried and true rural brand. However most marketing material was very dated. Alexanders created a fresh new look and colourway that could be rolled out across all collateral and packaging, incorporating the gutsy values representative of the new management style.

HANC-Folder Cover HANC-Inisde Folder

Hancroft Corporate Folder and Dividers design

This folder with heat-sealed cover and dividers provides a handy repository for checklists and training documents on client sites.  Used by cleaning staff, it needs to be durable as well as being practical for adding new info sheets.

McRaeway Homes Profile Brochure Design

It was important to articulate the McRaeway Homes points of difference to increase market share. We proposed a six panel layout to incorporate the ten reasons and some history on McRaeway Homes. Whilst keeping their logo in their corporate blue, we introduced a touch of silver, charcoal and a modern green, specifically chosen to reflect the rolling hills of heartland Otago and Southland. The green brightens up the brochure, introducing a contemporary element. The colours work harmoniously, and can be recognised as McRaeway Homes colours.

"Thanks for your help with designing.  We love our new look and are receiving lots of compliments." Raewyn Bell, Sales Manager, McRaeway Homes.

 LiftX Brochure

LiftX Brochure

Tait corporate profile brochure design

As Christchurch's largest privately owned manufacturing company, the corporate profile brochure needed to present a professional image of mobile radio technology products to customers in over 80 countries. We worked with existing images to tell the amazing story of how Angus grew this business from a fledgling company into an iconic New Zealand business successfully competing against global giants like Motorola in the mobile communications field.

Orange Homes profile design

A local building company had a reputation for building cheaper homes, but in recent years has moved on to much higher spec’d homes. Alexanders art directed a photo shoot and designed this folder, doubling as a corporate profile, to contain a range of standard plan templates.

PGG Wrightson 1/2 year report

Half year annual report recently after the merger, using prescribed brand colours.

TL Jones corporate profile design

This corporate profile for an international lift sensor company was designed to be a timless piece that would not date. Testament to this original brief, now some four years old, it is still in use. It was designed for foreign markets with limited English speaking ability. The logo won a Highly Commended at the South Island Advertising Awards 2001.

V-base corporate profile design

NCC New Zealand (now called V-base) incorporating the Convention Centre, Westpac Centre and Christchurch Town Hall, wanted a coffee table book for the top 1,000 corporate executives around Asia to promote its conference facilities in Christchurch. The theme was “a perfect fit” using shoes and tailoring i.e. whatever the occasion, there was a venue that was the perfect fit. With generous support from Pak World, details included embossed and foiled designs which won us a Gold at the Pride in Print Awards.

Bishopspark brochure design

Anglican Aged Care operate three retirement complexes in Christchurch and had undertaken major redevelopment at Bishopspark with many new apartments for sale. A campaign promoting open days successfully filled all vacancies. These timeless brochures including a photo shoot are still in use several years down the track.

Dynamic Controls brochure design

Digital news of the month.

Google Green Ads!

Not long ago Google changed the colour of their ads from yellow to green, you may remember the "Ads" symbol on the first couple of lines of results indicating an advertisement; yes that is what has been changed. You might ask "this is not a major change, why is it important?"

Now the ads are very similar to the organic search results, this means number of clicks on the ads can potentially increase. This comes a month after Google started to show more ads on top and bottom of the first search result page. One might say, Google is looking to make more money and help more business to be found through ads. Yet comparing to other search engines such as Yahoo and Bing, Google's green ads are easier to spot.

Google launched green ads first in USA and then in Europe, interestingly enough the results are showing some slight change in the click through rates (CTR) on the new design, maybe a good news to advertisers to get more traffic for their money after all.
